A Case of Metastatic Choriocarcinoma on the Ileum

Abstract
|
|
|
A 47-year-old Korean female was admitted to hospital because of severe abdominal pain and chillness. She had been managed by D & C about two years ago due to irregular genital bleeding.
On the physical examination revealed abdominal distension with tenderness and bloody pus was evacuated from Douglas pouch.
And laparotomy was performed under the diagnosis of pelvic peritonitis, however, histological examination revealed metastatic choriocarcinoma on the ileum.
